What to Look for in a Fireworks Display Company
Look at Previous Projects
When you're looking at multiple display companies as potential fireworks partners for your next event, take a look at their event history. Have they performed shows similar to yours before? Do they have photos & videos from the event? If you're still unsure, ask to speak with other event organizers they've worked with in the past.
Are they Licensed & Insured?
Safety is key. Be sure the display company has liability insurance & all their licensing in place. Also be sure to ask if they'll handle your event permitting for you.
Do a Site Visit
The best display companies will create a custom display – taking your location, distance show is from audience line, & budget into consideration. Take this opportunity to ask them about what method of firing & types of products they plan to use.
Go for Quality, Not Quantity
Typically display proposals will include a "shell count." But don't be fooled into just looking for the higher number when comparing RFPs. Quality fireworks cost more but last longer, have better effects, & are better constructed. This may mean a lower shell count, but a better show.
